Grappy's Soap Box is a Blog about social and political issues in Australia and the World. It covers many subjects that take centre stage in our daily discourse. The blog focuses on high-level review and commentary and tries to identify trends that drive societal change.

As the name implies, this blog is my 'Soap Box', where I vent my views on the changing world and perhaps even re-align it, if just a bit. 

Above all, I do believe that polite, reasoned exchange of ideas allows participants to both discover more about their own views and sometimes adjust them to accommodate alternative viewpoints.
